RB Leipzig vs Hoffenheim Match Preview
RB Leipzig host Hoffenheim for their Bundesliga clash on Monday evening in great shape after confirming their fine form with a rock-solid display and a 1-3 win at Stuttgart last week, where Yussuf Poulsen bagged a brace and Marcel Sabitzer added one to earn their fourth win in five outings across competitions.
Die Bullen have seen some narrow occasions in front of the home fans along the way and seeing Eintracht Frankfurt (0-0) snatch a point beforehand will not be a great confidence booster. However, Ralf Rangnick’s men sit in the top 4 and it should not be a great task to lift their team spirits, which promises a great challenge here.
Hoffenheim have, on the other hand, outclassed Hannover 96 in a 3-0 home win last week to extend their four-match unbeaten streak, after beating Freiburg (2-4) in late January and holding off both Fortuna Düsseldorf (1-1) and Borussia Dortmund (3-3) in two exciting clashes in February.
Die Kraichgauer have thus been scoring numbers of goals on the regular and we’ll surely see them just as motivated to close the gap to spots leading to Champions League, sitting eight points behind the 4th placed rivals and desperate to climb the Bundesliga table.
We don’t see them doing damage despite expecting an exciting challenge at Red Bull Arena and we’ll now rather stick with a Home win, backing Leipzig to bag the all-important points at 5/6 with Paddy Power.
Seeing Hoffenheim’s impressive goalscoring tally of recent, we now feel we should see goals on both ends and we’re going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/9 with bet365 – which has been rated buying money for old rope by many big hitters.
