RB Leipzig vs Borussia Dortmund Match Preview
Borussia Dortmund have returned to the winning ways with a 2-1 win over Monchengladbach with goals from Jadon Sancho and Marco Reus, building on the success as they travel to Leipzig on the back of a three-match winning streak with friendly wins over Fortuna Dusseldorf (3-2) and Feyenoord (2-1) now behind them.
BVB have been scoring numbers of goals on the regular led by in-form Marco Reus, sitting at the top of the Bundesliga table with a six-point gap to the 2nd placed Bayern Munich. This should have them very motivated to build on it with points at Red Bull Arena but getting them should be no easy task.
Leipzig have proven themselves a tough side to beat lately and we’ve seen them bounce back from a 1-0 loss at Bayern with wins over Werder (3-2 in Bundesliga) and Wolfsberger (1-0 in a friendly) as well as a 1-1 draw against Galatasaray.
Die Bullen have suffered just one loss (2-3 to Salzburg in Europa League) across competitions this term and we’ll surely see them just as confident on the day, despite a tough schedule BVB will surely pose in Matchday 18 derby clash.
We will now stick our necks out for Leipzig to hold off the pace-setters and we’ll go for a Draw here, which comes at 27/10 with BetVictor. We have seen them as a very tough side to beat here and Borussia Dortmund will have troubles snatching points too!
We have been used to thriller head-to-head clashes between the sides and we should be in for more of the same now, which has us going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 8/15 with William Hill – following the steps of many big hitters we’ve seen lumping already.
