Leicester host Everton for their Matchday 14 clash on Sunday with a six-match winning streak behind them, sitting 2nd placed after 13 Premier League games played and surely hoping to build on the perfect run of recent as they capitalize on the visitors’ struggles for consistency.
Foxes beat Crystal Palace (0-2), Arsenal (2-0), and Brighton (0-2) in three November outings and kept clean sheets on all three occasions. They’ve been rock-solid in front of the home crowd and we feel Brendan Rodgers should have no troubles lifting their team spirits ahead of the Sunday’s clash either.
Marco Silva could be in for more of a task after seeing a 0-2 home loss to Norwich, as visitors bagged two second-half goals and bagged their first away win of the season. Everton now sit just four points clear of the relegation zone despite a three-match unbeaten streak seen beforehand.
Toffees have beaten Watford (2-0) and held off Tottenham (1-1) before snatching a 1-2 win at Southampton, which hardly proves they’re past struggles for consistency now. They did snatch the points in a thriller contest on their last trip to King Power Stadium back in October 2018 but could need more on the day.
We feel Leicester should have what it takes to bag the points and extend their furious streak to seven wins, but we feel they’ll have to base such success on another solid defensive display. We’ll thus go for a Home win to Nil, which comes at an eye-catching 15/8 with BetVictor.
