Leicester finally ended their winless streak as they made their way to FA Cup Quarter-finals past Birmingham (1-0) on Wednesday evening and they host Aston Villa hoping to build on the performance, where they kept a clean sheet and a late goal from Ricardo Pereira proved enough to make it happen.

Foxes have seen some very narrow clashes but found themselves on the losing end as they saw Man City (0-1) and Norwich (1-0) secure the points. They still have an eight-point gap to 5th placed Man United and will be desperate to build on the top 4 spot with home points on Monday evening.

Aston Villa knocked the rivals out of the League Cup in January (3-2 on aggregate) but failed to build on the success despite some very tight contests of their own. They fell short in a League Cup trophy search as Man City (1-2) bagged the silverware in early March, which could be a tough pill to swallow despite the odds being against them.

Villans saw three Premier League losses in a row as well, where Bournemouth (2-1), Tottenham (2-3), and Southampton (2-0) all denied them. They now sit in the relegation zone and Dean Smith will be desperate to find a quick fix in an exciting chase to escape it, with four sides within three points.

We do expect the visitors motivated to cause an upset once again but we don’t see them making it happen. We still hope to see them going for goals and we’re now sticking our necks out for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 7/4 with bet365.

Foxes haven’t really impressed up front but we feel they’ll have to outgun the rivals to secure the points, which also has us going for a high-scoring occasion we’ve gotten used on Aston Villa’s end. We’ll thus back Over 2.5 Goals FT, which comes at 8/15 with William Hill.
