Leicester are now the only club keeping the Premier League title race alive – and must not drop points at home to Norwich if they are to continue doing so.

The Foxes have won their last nine league and cup matches and if they can make it a perfect 10, it would actually double the longest sequence of victories they enjoyed during their title-winning campaign of 2015-16!

In a ‘normal’ season, Leicester would be on course to capture the crown again having garnered 38 points from 16 games. But the fact Liverpool have failed to win only once as we approach Christmas, and are eight points clear at the top of the table, is quite remarkable.

Norwich are at the opposite end of the standings and their latest two defeats against Southampton and Sheffield United have left them cut adrift in the relegation zone.

But if there is hope for the Canaries, it’s that they are now scoring goals more regularly than was the case back in the autumn and they were certainly unlucky to be beaten by the Blades last weekend when their opponents had a red card commuted to a yellow by VAR.

Having won at Everton and drawn with Arsenal in the last few weeks, Norwich have shown Leicester they must not take anything for granted here and with Brendan Rodgers’ side at prohibitively short odds, backing both teams to get on the scoresheet is the bet that appeals most.
