Leicester City vs Manchester United Match Preview
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has lost his 100% record overall as Manchester United’s interim manager, but still has the chance to make it five wins out of five away from home.
The popular Norwegian remains unbeaten by the skin of his teeth after United scored a couple of late goals to salvage a 2-2 draw with Burnley at Old Trafford in midweek.
Now the Red Devils, who have won at Cardiff, Newcastle, Tottenham and Arsenal under Solskjaer’s guidance, visit a Leicester side who will have been happier than United to draw their latest fixture – because it was away to leaders Liverpool.
The Foxes produced a good performance at Anfield, which will have again kept the axeman away from the door as far as manager Claude Puel is concerned following a run of four losses in five.
The problem is that Leicester are just very unpredictable, especially at home where, within four days after Christmas, they beat Manchester City and then lost to Cardiff!
The best way to approach betting on this game, therefore, is to base it on what you think Manchester United will do – is the momentum slowing under Solskjaer or was the Burnley result a temporary blip?
With a very tough February ahead, we think it may just be the former and that the manager’s perfect away record will also go here – but via another draw rather than a loss.
