Leganes have been terrific at home this season, but Valencia are scoring goals on the road and are fancied to win on this trip to the outskirts of Madrid.

Former Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is now the manager of Leganes and, as you might expect, he has set them up to be solid defensively.

The club nicknamed the Cucumber Growers, who were only promoted to the Spanish top flight for the first time in 2016, sat 13th of 20 in the league table going into the weekend and have lost only once at home this term in all competitions – a record that matches the best.

They clearly have a chance, therefore, against Valencia, but for whatever reason the visitors to the Butarque on Sunday have found goals easier to score on their travels than at the Mestalla of late.

Already this month Los Che have gained a 2-2 draw at Barcelona, set themselves up to reach the Copa del Rey final with a couple of goals in the first leg of their tie at Real Betis and won 2-0 away to Celtic in the Europa League.

With the likes of Denis Cheryshev and Kevin Gameiro in particularly good goalscoring form, Valencia are backed to edge another win against a side they have regularly beaten over the last few years.
