Leganes are starting to look more and more comfortable at the top table of Spanish football. Los Pepineros have spent the majority of their history struggling in the lower reaches of the Spanish pyramid and were only promoted to the top tier for the first time in the 2015/2016 season but they’ve since managed to establish themselves at this level and they look set to finish comfortably in midtable once again this season.

Recent form may look a little shaky, but in front of their own supporters at Estadio Municipal de Butarque, Mauricio Pellegrino’s men have been in terrific fettle of late. Having not lost any of their last eight home matches in any competitions, it’s no surprise that Leganes are favourites to win this one at 19/20 with Bet365 and given that Levante have lost five of their last six away games, that’s our first tip for this match.

Levante may come into this match in some poor form but in terms of the league table at least, these two sides are very well-matched. Granotas are currently behind their Monday night opponents on goal difference alone as they occupy 13th place in the table and they’ll be looking to keep their heads above the relegation battle having suffered the ignominy of demotion to the second tier three times in the last 15 years.

A 1-4 away victory over Celta de Vigo in their last away trip seems to be something of an anomaly though as Paco Lopez’s side slipped to a hard-fought 1-2 defeat to Real Madrid last weekend, leaving that victory at the Balaidos as their only one in their last five games and they’ve been on the receiving end of some heavy defeats in that time too, going down 3-0 to Barcelona and 5-0 to Sevilla. Can they pick up another surprise away win here at 10/3 with William Hill?

We are backing the goals in this game too. Both sides have been shipping plenty of goals of late, with Levante keeping just one clean sheet in their last 13 games in all competitions and Leganes not faring much better with just one clean sheet in their last six. The hosts will look to Martin Braithwaite and Yousseff En-Nesyri to provide an attacking spark whilst Roger Marti, with ten goals to his name so far this term, is the key man for the visitors.
