Leeds vs West Brom Match Preview
Leeds saw their winless run stretched to two and suffered a second defeat in the last four going down 1-0 at Charlton at the weekend. For the second successive week United were undone in a game they controlled and the expected goals data feels they should have played nine won nine.
At Elland Road, the Whites have won just one fixture all season and only managed to net three times which is the same number conceded. Three of their last four at this ground have been goalless going into the break.
West Brom took Leeds place at the top of the table and remain undefeated in nine thanks to a 2-0 road success at QPR. Albion impressed by shutting out a QPR side who were in impressive goalscoring form and were good value for their victory.
Away from the Hawthorns, the Baggies have taken 11 points from a possible 15 on offer with three victories and two draws from five. Each of their last six goals on the road have come after the half-time break.
Albion are unbeaten this season and while this is the hardest test they will have to face the price on them to get something from this game is far too high. Leeds are still the side most likely to win the league but West Brom will not be far behind them and taking them along with the draw looks the call against a side with just one home win all season. Kyle Edwards was excellent off the bench at the weekend and unlucky not to net and goes off great anytime value here.
