Leeds made it four successive victories with a comprehensive 4-0 road success at Hull last weekend as they appear to be back on track. They sit second in the table and are one point behind leaders West Brom and five ahead of Fulham in third.
At Elland Road, the last three games United have played have ended in the same 1-0 scoreline with the Yorkshire side winning two of these. Just one of the last five and three of the last nine played here have seen both teams score.
Huddersfield also hit four goals last weekend as they defeated Charlton 4-0 to make it back-to-back league victories. Town are up to 17th which has them five places and four points above the relegation spots.
Away from the John Smith’s Stadium, the Terriers are three without a league victory and have managed just one success in their last seven. Each of their last five and eight of the last ten on the road have seen both teams net.
it is hard to see past a home victory in this all Yorkshire battle though the home team are a little too short to be siding with giving they throw in an odd strange result at home such as that loss to Wigan. Huddersfield have won two straight games but will have to raise their game to beat such a strong side in United here.
A better angle of attack is to take the visitors with a 1.25 start on the Asian Handicap which is a half win if Town lose by one goal and is only a loss if they lose by two or more goals. United did hammer Hull last time but that might be more on the Tigers been weak and it is rare they blow sides away. Prior to that they had gone 15 games in all competitions without winning by more than one goal.
The home team do not concede many goals but with Karlan Ahearne-Grant, Junior Bacuna and Steve Mounie all impressing last weekend the visitors seem to have enough about them going forward that they look capable of netting at least once.
