Leeds vs Cardiff Match Preview
Leeds continued to march on in midweek with a 2-0home success over their Yorkshire rivals Hull thanks to a goal each from Egzijan Alioski and an own-goal. It was their seven straight victory, stretches their unbeaten run to ten and leaves them top of the table.
At Elland Road, United beat Hull last time out which was a sixth straight victory at their own place and marked the fifth occasion the road side had failed to net. Each of the next four visitors here are teams in the current top 14.
Cardiff will be looking to bounce back after defeat in midweek at Griffin Park to Brentford going down on this occasion 2-1. The Bluebirds are in decent form with three victories, one draw and just one defeat in their last five.
Away from the Cardiff City Stadium, the Bluebirds have struggled this season winning just once though that came on their penultimate start at Forest. Nathaniel Mendez-Laing has netted in two of his last three on his travels.
It is a very short price on a home victory but you could not oppose a Leeds team flying in the league at the moment. They are dominating games and look full of confidence though maybe the pressure of being top of the table could get to them.
A better angle of attack is the goalscorer markets and we like the look of a couple of United players to net at anytime. The current setup of the Leeds team allows Pablo Hernandez and Mateusz Klich free reign to attack the spaces left by Patrick Bamford with his clever runs and as such both look worth an interest in this one.
