Leeds vs Bristol City Match Preview
Leeds showed they were not done for as a team when they put in a strong showing at promotion rivals Brentford but had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Just five points from their last seven matches has seen their advantage drop and they are now second only on goal-difference.
At Elland Road, United are feeling the pressure having won just one of their last five with two of the last three ending in a draw. Each of the last five visitors to this ground have found the back of the net on at least one occasion.
Bristol City boosted their promotion hopes with a 3-2 victory over Derby in midweek a fifth victory in their last six league games. It puts them seventh on 53 points and while five places behind their opponents here the gap is just three points.
Away from Ashton Gate, the Robins are flying winning each of their last three and keeping a clean sheet in each of these. Jamie Paterson and Famara Diedhiou have both netted two goals each from their last three road appearances.
At first glance at the odds you would think this was a home side flying against a struggling mid-table side then you look at the team names and the league positions and see just three points between them. Bristol City look big here and getting with them in some way is sensible. We would recommend the Asian Handicap line with the Robins getting a 1.25 start which means anything less than a home win by two goals gets you money. Leeds have won just two of their last 11 and none of these victories was by more than one goal.
It remains to be seen what kind of forward line the Robins put out giving they have options now but with the last five visitors netting here then City look capable of scoring here and Famara Diedhiou who has two in his last three on the road looks too big.
