Juventus vs Torino Match Preview
Juventus host Torino for their Matchday 35 Serie A clash as reigning champions of Italy after securing the title in a 2-1 win over Fiorentina last time out at Allianz Stadium, now coming into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw earned at Inter Milan and looking to celebrate with the home fans once again.
Bianconeri have struggled for consistency and Max Allegri has criticized his side himself, even finding himself frustrated and leaving a post-match interview when asked about the Champions League exit. He will now want his men to perform and we feel they’ll be just as motivated here.
Torino, on the other hand, have more to play for at this point and they come into the match on the back of a great 2-0 win over fellow Champions League chasers AC Milan, where goals from Andrea Belotti and Alex Berenguer proved enough for a comfortable win over seemingly lost visitors.
Toro have thus bagged their second win in a row and extended a six-match unbeaten streak, proving themselves a very tough outfit to outgun. However, Juventus have bagged eight wins and a draw in the last nine head-to-head clashes and this gives the champions a lot more to build on in that sense.
We will back Juventus to do just that but we expect Torino to turn this one into a more thrilling contest than we’ve been used to, as we now stick our necks out for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 3/1 with bet365.
We thus hope for a high-scoring contest between the sides and we’ll back the first such occasion in four clashes as we go for Over 2.5 Goals FT at Evens with Paddy Power. We’ve seen Torino scoring on the regular and feel Juventus will have to outgun them if they’re to deny the points.
