Juventus host struggling Parma looking for a confidence booster as they build on an 11-point gap at the top of the table, where Napoli slipped up at AC Milan last week. They’ve had troubles at Lazio (1-2) and Atalanta (3-0) in Coppa Italia over the past seven days, which will be a worry for Max Allegri as his men need consistency ahead of the Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid midway through February.

Bianconeri have been very solid defensively at Allianz Stadium, though, and it’s tough seeing mid-table rivals struggling for stability do damage on the day. They’ve kept clean sheets in five of their last six home outings since November and this reinforces such a claim as well.

Parma have bagged win in both of their last two trips and beat Fiorentina (0-1) and Udinese (1-2), which promises a tough challenge despite a lack of such success at home ground. Indeed, the visitors now come off a thriller 2-3 loss to SPAL and need to pick it up after conceding three goals in the final 20 minutes last week.

Crociati have picked it up in the final third more recently but beating Juve’s defensive line will be no easy task for them, despite doing so in an exciting clash in front of the home fans this term. They’ll want to use the shaken up Juve to their advantage but we don’t see them making it happen.

We’ll thus stick with Juventus to put on a more confident display at home ground and go for a Home win to Nil, which comes at 31/40 with BetVictor and has seen many big hitters lumping already.

However, we don’t feel this will come as a very one-sided contest and with that in mind, we hope not to see many goals on the day. We’ll go for Under 2.5 Goals FT at 29/20 with Betfair, after seeing Parma seldom conceding many goals despite no great stability at the back.
