Inter Milan vs Chievo Match Preview
Inter Milan host Chievo for their Matchday 36 clash on Monday evening looking to finally return to the winning ways and build on their top 4 spot, seeing Atalanta jump them and both Milan and Roma breathing down their necks with weekend wins behind them.
Nerazzurri have been held to draws by Roma (1-1), Juventus (1-1), and Udinese (0-0) in their last three outings and while the tasks have been no walks in the park, it feels Luciano Spalletti’s men struggle to produce in the final third and find it costly late in the campaign.
However, they hope the visitors will not be the same sort of a challenge now as Chievo sit rock-bottomed and saw their relegation long confirmed. They have shocked Lazio (1-2) in late April, though, and only saw a two-game unbeaten streak ended as SPAL bagged a convincing 0-4 win in Verona.
Gialloblu have struggled to show off on the road and it’s thus very hard to make a case for them to capitalize on shaken up Inter lately, but we do expect them to show off as a tough nut to crack and give the home side a run for the money here.
We will still back Inter to bag the important points and while we feel they could struggle to break the deadlock, we do see them keeping it together at the back as we go for a Home win to Nil at 3/4 with William Hill.
With that in mind, we now also hope to see few goals at Giuseppe Meazza once again and Inter’s attacking line doesn’t feel as inspired at this point. We’ll thus also back a low-scoring clash with Under 2.5 Goals FT at 2/1 with bet365.
