Inter Milan vs Bologna Match Preview
Inter Milan host struggling Bologna for their Matchday 22 clash hoping they can capitalize on the rivals’ woes in search of a return to the winning ways after three outings, where they were held off by Sassuolo (0-0) and beaten by both Torino (1-0) and Lazio (on penalties after a 1-1 Coppa Italia draw).
Nerazzurri have seen a mid-week thriller but failed to take anything from it, where they struggle to find the net and Icardi’s last-gasp penalty kick against Lazio was their only goal in three outings. They will now hope for more on Sunday and doing so will be crucial in an attempt to build on a top 4 spot.
Bologna have struggled to end their winless streak with a tough schedule and the best chance at it saw them fail to escape the relegation zone, as Frosinone snatched a thrashing 0-4 win at Renato Dall’Ara. Sinisa Mihajlovic now has to search for a quick fix but finding it in Milan will be no easy task.
Rossoblu held SPAL to a 1-1 draw and saw a rather narrow 0-2 Coppa Italia loss to dominant Juventus, which will have them motivated to put on a solid challenge here as well. However, their records on the road (with just five points earned so far) will be far less promising and has very few believing in an upset.
We will now back Inter to finally put on a more confident display and we’ll go for a Home win to Nil at Evens with BetVictor, hoping to see them capitalize on the rivals’ goalscoring woes and secure the all-important points.
However, we have seen them struggling to score numbers of goals themselves and this shapes a tough deadlock to break here, as we also stick our necks out for a low-scoring clash with Under 2.5 Goals FT at an enticing 21/20 with Coral.
