Iceland vs Turkey Match Preview
Turkey travel to Reykjavík for their Matchday 4 EURO 2020 Qualifiers in Group H boasting great team spirits after beating France (2-0) in front of the home fans and connecting their fifth win in a row across competitions.
Crescent-Stars have been scoring numbers of goals along the way but they’ve also kept clean sheets on all three Qualifiers occasions, which should have Senol Gunes and his men very motivated to keep it up. They’ve had more troubles impressing on the road, though, and it’s fair to say they have a lot to prove if they’re to retain a top 2 spot.
Iceland have beaten Albania (1-0) in a narrow contest in front of the home fans and returned to the winning ways, after seeing a 4-0 thrashing in France beforehand – where Umtiti, Giroud, Mbappe, and Griezmann all found the net. They’ve shown they can keep it together at the back here, though, and will now want a display more reminiscent of their win over Albania.
Strakarnir Okkar have seen troubles for consistency through most part of 2018, including an underwhelming Nations League campaign. Still, we have them rarely able to keep clean sheets even here, which could prove costly on Tuesday evening.
However, we’ll now stick our necks out for the sides to share the points at Laugardalsvollur, as we go for a Draw at 23/10 with bet365. We’ve seen Turkey very tough to beat lately and we hope to see them show it off once again.
It does feel like we should be in for goals and the visitors will have to cope if they’re to take away anything from the fixture, as we now also go for a Yes on Both teams to score at Evens with Spreadex – which could as well prove the best approach to the fixture.
