Hull vs Charlton Match Preview
Hull saw their miserable run continue as they were hammered 5-1 by Stoke at the weekend being three behind after just 18 minutes. They sit in 21st place just two points above their opponents here having lost each of their last four and taken just two points from their last 11.
At the KCOM Stadium, the Tigers have lost six of their last seven and taken just one point from these fixtures. No side has conceded more goals at home in the Championship this season than the 33 they have shipped.
Charlton suffered a third consecutive defeat last weekend as they went down 1-0 at home to Middlesbrough to drop into the bottom three. Victory here would move them above their opponents and out of the bottom three.
Away from the Valley, the Addicks have suffered back-to-back league defeats and lost six of their last seven matches. No side have won a lower amount of road games in the division this season than the London outfit who have won just three times.
Bookmakers are struggling to split the pair and it is hard to have tough much faith in either side given Hull are winless in 11 and Charlton have lost six of their last seven on the road. A better angle of attack in this fixture is to look for a couple of anytime goalscorer value selections.
For the hosts, Josh Magennis has not scored for a while but will fancy his chance against an Addicks defence that has shipped ten times in their last five on the road. For the visitors, Andre Green does not have many goals this season but he is going close in recent times and is up against a Tigers unit that has shipped nine times in their last two.
