Huesca vs Sevilla Match Preview
Sevilla have dropped out of La Liga’s top 4 with a 2-4 loss to Barcelona in front of the home fans and now travel to rock-bottomed Huesca hoping to bounce back and challenge Getafe at the 4th – currently sitting two points behind and have five chasers behind them as well.
Sevillistas have struggled for consistency and while this hasn’t proven costly in Europa League where they knocked out Lazio with a 3-0 aggregate win, just one point earned in four league outings will be very worrying for Pablo Machin. Furthermore, his men have struggled to score goals on the road, failing to find the net in any of their last four trips, and finding a cure for such woes will be essential.
Huesca have, on the other hand, picked it up and joined a thriller chase to secure the top-flight status with a six-point gap to the 17th placed Celta Vigo. They’ve earned eight points in five outings since late January and suffered just one loss (0-1 to Bilbao) along the way, which will have them just as motivated to capitalize on the rivals woes.
However, struggles to cope with big guns at El Alcoraz hardly feel like a confidence booster and we do believe they have a lot to prove if they’re to escape the red zone in their first La Liga campaign ever – as Francisco’s men hope to do just that on Saturday.
We don’t see them doing so, though, and we’ll now rather stick with Sevilla to finally end their winless streak in La Liga with a win priced at Evens with bet365. Huesca feel like a solid opportunity to make it happen and we feel they have what it takes despite recent struggles.
We don’t see them keeping a clean sheet at El Alcoraz and Huesca should be able to do their bit in making this a thrilling contest, as we also back a Yes on Both teams to score at 3/4 with William Hill.
