San Jose Earthquakes travel to BBVA Compass Stadium for their sixth MLS outing this term with a very unpredictable spell of form behind them, where they only ended a streak of four losses with a convincing 3-0 win over Portland Timbers as Shea Salinas, Danny Hoesen, and Cristian Espinoza all found the net in the first half.

Earthquakes have been conceding numbers of goals beforehand and while Matias Almeyda surely wants to build on the Sunday’s display, convincing losses to Los Angeles FC (0-5), New York RB (4-1), and Minnesota United (0-3) seen beforehand will be much more worrying.
