Hertha Berlin vs Werder Bremen Match Preview
Werder Bremen travel to Berlin on the back of a couple of great results seen last week, where they beat Borussia Dortmund (on penalties after a thriller 3-3 draw) to make it through to the DFB Pokal Quarter-finals and built on the success with a thrashing 4-0 win over Augsburg.
Die Werderaner have been led by in-form Milot Rashica in the final third and kept scoring numbers of goals along the way, promising a great challenge at Olympiastadion too – as they want to jump the rivals in an exciting chase for the top 6 spots with seven sides in contention.
Hertha have seen a Cup thriller of their own but dropped their Quarter-finals spot to Bayern Munich in extra-time (2-3), now only ending a three-match winless streak with a great display at Borussia M’gladbach (0-3) over the weekend. Pal Dardai will now want his men to build on the positives and we feel they’ll be just as confident here.
Die Alte Dame have proven themselves as a very tough nut to crack at this ground on many occasions and although they’ve been struggling for consistency in results, it does give them a lot to build on. Bremen do seem to be in a better place at the moment but it’s still very tough to make a case for the visitors to snatch all three points.
We’ll thus stick our necks out for the mid-table rivals to share the spoils here and we’ll go for a Draw at 5/2 with BetVictor, which shapes to be the best approach to the fixture at this point.
Indeed, we’ve seen both sides scoring and conceding numbers of goals and this promises a thriller in the making. With that in mind, we’re now going for such an occasion with a Yes on Both teams to score at 4/7 with Sportingbet – which would be a fourth in six outings for both sides.
