Borussia Dortmund travel to Berlin for their Matchday 13 Bundesliga clash just days after their Champions League trip to Barcelona, as they look to use busy schedule end return to the winning ways after a couple of disappointing displays. They’ve struggled defensively and found it costly lately, which will be worrying for Lucien Favre.

BVB have seen a thrashing 4-0 loss at Bayern Munich ahead of the International break and obviously found it hard to put it behind them, seeing Paderborn (3-3) snatch a point at Signal Iduna Park only completing a comeback with the last-gasp equalizer from Marco Reus. They’ll now need more and will have to go all-out for it if they’re to keep up with the top of the table.

Hertha Berlin have seen woes of their own and they now sit just outside the relegation zone, after seeing losses to Hoffenheim (2-3), Union Berlin (1-0), RB Leipzig (2-4), and Augsburg (4-0 most recently). They’ve only interrupted the streak with a thriller DFB Pokal win over Dynamo Dresden (on penalties after a 3-3 draw).
