Getafe host Real Madrid for their Matchday 34 clash midway through the week in great spirits, after securing all-important points against Sevilla (3-0) on Sunday and extending a four-match unbeaten streak – which sees them sitting 4th in a thriller chase for Champions League spots late in the campaign.

Azulones beat Athletic Bilbao (1-0) at Coliseum Alfonso Perez beforehand and held off Espanyol (1-1) as well as Valladolid (2-2) on the road along the way, proving themselves a very tough nut to crack. Jose Bordalas’ men have thus bagged eight wins in last nine home outings, which will have them very motivated to build on such records too.

Real Madrid have seen a similarly convincing result in a 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao over the weekend, where Karim Benzema led the side with a hat-trick to their fourth home win in a row. However, they’ve struggled to retain such consistency on the road and this could be more worrying for Zinedine Zidane despite no high stakes on their end.
