Fulham vs Millwall Match Preview
Fulham beat Blackburn Rovers (2-0) and Huddersfield Town (1-2) in their last two outings and now host Millwall for their Matchday 4 clash in a great mood, looking to build on the streak and make their way into the Championship top 6 despite a troubled start of the campaign.
Lilywhites have seen a 1-0 loss at Barnsley and saw a somewhat unpredictable run through the pre-season show costly, which will have Scott Parker looking for consistency here. They have been led by Aleksandar Mitrovic in the final third and the Serbian striker will surely want to keep up his goalscoring streak early on, desperate to overcome last season’s tally of 11 goals in Premier League.
Millwall have kicked off the new campaign in good spirits too and they’ll want to keep it up at Craven Cottage despite possibly the toughest challenge yet, having beaten Preston (1-0), Sheffield Wednesday (1-0), and held off West Brom (1-1) in the process – as former Fulham man Matt Smith netted two goals in three Championship appearances.
Lions have seen more troubles to keep it together at the back on the road, though, and they could need more to cause an upset here. They’ve made their way past West Brom in League Cup with a 1-2 win at the Hawthorns along the way, though, which will be a great boost for their confidence as well.
Still, we don’t see them getting to the points on the day and we’ll now rather back Fulham to secure the important points – as we go for a Home win at 13/20 with William Hill and hope it can prove a banker bet many in the know have rated it to be.
We hope to see goals and we’ll go for them to come at both ends with a Yes on Both teams to score at 22/25 with Unibet. We have seen both sides score and conceding along the way, which adds to such a belief and has many backing the claim.
