Fulham picked up a second successive victory on Tuesday night as they beat Reading 4-1 at the Madejski Stadium. Tom Cairney netted twice in this fixture to extend his recent scoring form to four goals in three fixtures.
At Craven Cottage, the Whites have won three times this season, drawn one and tasted defeat just once in five. Each of the last three and four of the five played in the Championship have seen exactly two or three goals.
Charlton lost 2-1 at home to Swansea last time out which makes it three defeats from their last four the other of which was a victory over Leeds. After a strong start to the season they have dropped to eighth place.
