Frosinone vs Lazio Match Preview
Lazio have seen a very tough schedule and finally ended a two-match losing streak as they turned the mid-week Coppa Italia clash at Inter their way on penalties after a 1-1 draw, now taking on struggling Frosinone in an attempt to build on the success and keep up with the Serie A top 4.
Biancocelesti have put on tough challenges ahead of Napoli (2-1) and Juventus (1-2) beforehand but still saw the points go the other way, which has them sitting 8th! Simone Inzaghi will now hope his men put it behind them midway through the week and have what it takes to show class here.
Frosinone have struggled for consistency in the final third and this shows as they sit in the relegation zone with a -26 goal difference. While a thrashing 0-4 win at Bologna will be a great boost to their plans to escape it, failing to find the net at all in six of their last ten Serie A outings will be far less promising.
Canarini have seen an unconventional home loss beforehand too as Atalanta snatched the points in a 0-5 win at Benito Stirpe, which was only the third time for them to concede more than two goals here this term. They will now hope for more of a challenge and we do see them putting it on.
However, we feel Lazio will still be able to bag a confident win and with that in mind, we’ll back the visitors to win to Nil at 6/4 with BetVictor! Frosinone have failed to score in all of their last three home outings and this feels like further evidence for such a bet.
This doesn’t look like a very one-sided clash in the making and with that in mind, we hope not to see many goals either. We’ll also back Under 2.5 Goals FT at 5/4 with Coral after seeing Lazio score just six in their last seven trips across competitions too.
