Frosinone vs Inter Milan Match Preview
Inter Milan travel to Frosinone for their Matchday 32 clash on Sunday looking to build on the five-point gap to the 4th placed AC Milan, having struggled for consistency but still seeing out a goalless draw against in-form Atalanta in front of the home fans last week.
Nerazzurri have thus kept their second clean sheet in a row, after outclassing Genoa in a thrashing 0-4 win at Luigi Ferraris beforehand and escaping the chasers in a thriller battle for the top 4 spots in Serie A. They will now want a similar upset at Benito Stirpe despite seeing the rivals pick it up lately.
Indeed, Frosinone have bagged six points in their last two outings but still sit seven points behind 17th placed Bologna, as one of the prime favourites to get relegated at the end of the campaign. They’ve struggled to cope with the big guns here and this will be just as worrying now.
Canarini have beaten Parma (3-2) in a five-goal thriller and built on the success with an important upset at Fiorentina (0-1), where a late goal from Daniel Ciofani brought all three points to Marco Baroni and his men. However, shooting down Inter should prove even more of a task.
We’ve seen Nerazzurri very solid at the back lately and we’ll now stick our necks out for a narrow win on their end, as we go for an Away win to Nil at 8/5 with bet365 – which looks great value seeing this would be their third clean sheet in a row.
However, we don’t see this as a one-sided contest looming at all and Frosinone should prove themselves a tough nut to crack, as we now also go for a low-scoring contest and Under 2.5 Goals FT at Evens with William Hill.
