Frosinone vs Chievo Match Preview
Chievo held Sampdoria to a goalless draw last week and proved themselves a very tough nut to crack in front of the home fans once again, now travelling to Frosinone on the final day of the campaign looking to end the season building on a narrow 1-0 win over the rivals earlier this term.
Gialloblu have struggled to produce on the road, though, and their shocker 1-2 win at Lazio in late April was their only away win this term. They’ve seen a comfortable 2-0 loss at Inter Milan since and Domenico Di Carlo has work to do if his men are to put on more of a challenge at Benito Stirpe.
Frosinone have, on the other hand, seen their relegation confirmed just as well and earned just one point in their last six outings. They’ve held off Sassuolo (2-2) in a four-goal thriller earlier this month but have also seen defensive troubles galore as they fell victims to Inter (1-3), Cagliari (1-0), Napoli (0-2), Udinese (1-3), and Milan (2-0) along the way.
Canarini have been scoring more goals at this ground and they’ll now look to put an end to the streak, as they say their farewell to the top-flight once again. While the sides play for pride only, we do feel they’ll be motivated to impress and we don’t see them beaten this time around.
We’ll thus stick with a Draw here at 11/4 with bet365 and hope that it proves a lively longshot it has been rated, as both sides struggle defensively and consequently are just unable to turn clashes their way lately.
We feel we’re in for a narrow occasion with few goals nonetheless as we also go for a low-scoring contest with Under 2.5 Goals FT at 13/8 with William Hill, which seems great value for those keeping hope we’ll see shared spoils on the day.
