Cincinnati have made a decent start to MLS life this season, but could struggle to keep up the good work against Sporting Kansas City.

The newest MLS franchise already have two wins to their credit, emphatically to nil against Portland Timbers and New England Revolution, while they also bagged a draw away to reigning champions Atlanta United.

But after a 2-0 home defeat to Philadelphia Union last weekend, Alan Koch’s side now face a difficult task as they are visited by a Kansas outfit who put seven goals past Montreal Impact last weekend.

Sporting’s away form is not their strongest suit, but this is a team who will fancy their chances of going all the way to the MLS Cup this term after only missing out on the showdown for the title last year when they conceded a goal nine minutes into stoppage time.

As the stats above outline, Krisztian Nemeth, who used to be on Liverpool’s books, and Scotland international forward Johnny Russell have started the campaign in terrific goalscoring form for Peter Vermes’ men.

The Wizards may just have too much for Cincinnati and are backed to grab an initial away victory of the year after Russell’s late equaliser earned them a point in Colorado last month.
