Faroe Islands vs Spain Match Preview
Spain travel to Faroe Islands with six points to their name after two EURO 2020 Qualifiers outings, where they beat Norway (2-1) and Malta (0-2), in hope they can extend their winning streak but also finally put on a more convincing setup.
La Furia Roja have thus seen some very narrow clashes behind them, as they beat Bosnia-Herzegovina (1-0) with a single goal from Brais Mendez which comes oddly indicative of their performances under Luis Enrique lately. Still, we expect them very motivated to finally impress and we do see them doing so.
Faroe Islands have, on the other hand, dropped all six points despite finding the net in both of their first two outings. They’ve seen a narrow 2-1 loss at Malta and Romania secured the points with confidence in a 4-1 win, where Deac, Keseru (x2), and Puscas all found the net.
Landslidid have proven themselves a tough side to beat on many occasions over the past year but hosting Spain will be the toughest challenge yet, with obvious difference in depth of quality and us backing the visitors to capitalize on it with confidence.
We will thus stick with Spain to score goals and go for an Asian Handicap – Spain to win -2.5, which comes at 1/2 with bet365 and looks like buying money at this point. We can’t see Faroe Islands coping and Luis Enrique’s men should be very motivated here.
With that in mind, we’ve seen Alvaro Morata in great shape lately and hope to see him leading the line, as we now also back Atletico Madrid’s striker to find the net anytime at 1/2 with William Hill – in hope we’ll see many goals in Torshavn.
