Norwich must be wondering where their next away goal will come from – and we doubt whether they can get on the scoresheet at Goodison Park this weekend.

You have to go all the way back to the Canaries’ last visit to Merseyside on August 9, in the very first Premier League match of the season against Liverpool, to find the only time they have bulged the net on their travels this term.

Essentially, after a 2-0 home defeat by Watford in their latest match before the international break, Norwich look to be heading straight back down to the Championship. They are now bottom of the table and need to figure out a way of collecting points consistently if they are to avoid the drop.

Everton are only 15th but at least there has been a bit more promise from them since the start of November, drawing 1-1 at home to Tottenham and then, crucially, addressing their poor away form with a 2-1 success at Southampton.

However, their beleaguered manager Marco Silva is far from out of the woods in terms of the pressure on his job and this is an absolute must-win game before a very tough run of fixtures up to Christmas.

It is very difficult to fancy Norwich at present because they simply cannot score anywhere near enough goals and with the first of the stats above also helping to paint a pretty sorry picture of their prospects here, three points should go Everton’s way.
