Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea Fansbet Preview
There was a bit of fortune for Chelsea as they took advantage of yet another David de Gea error to gift Marcos Alonso the equaliser against Man Utd on Sunday. However, Maurizio Sarri won’t mind how his men got the job done as it now means they’re in the driving seat for a top-four spot in the Premier League with just two games remaining, whilst also competing on a European front in this fixture with Frankfurt.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Chelsea Match Preview
Chelsea are clear favourites to win the Europa League, but may have to rely on their stronger home form to get them to the final in Baku at the expense of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Blues enter the last month of the season competing on two fronts with their London rivals Arsenal to qualify for next term’s Champions League, either by winning UEFA’s secondary club competition or finishing fourth in the Premier League table.
The duo could easily meet in Baku on May 29, both favourites to win their semi-finals, but Chelsea face a tricky task on their first visit to Germany since November 2014.
That is because Eintracht have an excellent home record in Europe (see stats above) and besides winning all of their six group matches this season, they have subsequently knocked out three clubs that dropped into this competition from the Champions League – Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan and Benfica.
Adi Hutter’s side possess one of the hottest striker properties on the continent just now in Luka Jovic, who has banged in 26 goals this campaign for his club and country Serbia, and he will be a handful for a Chelsea defence likely to be without injured Antonio Rudiger.
Although Chelsea have won six matches out of six in the knockout stage they have received a very favourable draw up to this point, but now it gets harder – and they could find themselves having to overcome a deficit at Stamford Bridge next week.
