Eibar have struggled for points since late January and while they’ve been a tougher side to beat in front of the home fans through most of the campaign, the crisis obviously took its toll as Mendilibar’s men saw Mallorca (1-2) snatch all three points and Bigas’ late goal proved nothing but a consolation.

Los Armeros now bagged just one win in seven outings across competitions and they’ll surely want more, especially at the back. They conceded at least a goal on five of those occasions and a tough schedule to follow could mean trouble, with just a two-point gap to the relegation zone after 26 games played.

Real Sociedad have, on the other hand, been more confident and sit just three points behind 4th placed Getafe with a game in hand. They did see a winning streak of six ended at Barcelona (1-0), where Leo Messi converted a late penalty to deny them any points at Camp Nou over the weekend.

La Real have been very convincing in the final third beforehand but now bagged just two goals in three games, which was still enough to beat Real Valladolid (1-0) in La Liga and Mirandes (0-1) in Copa del Rey. They will be very motivated to bounce quickly but should be in for a tough task nonetheless.

We don’t see the visitors snatching all three points and we’ll now rather stick our necks out for the sides to share the spoils at Ipurua, going for a Draw at 12/5 with BetVictor and hoping to see a tough deadlock to break on Tuesday.
