Dundee United have bagged their third win in four head-to-head clashes against Inverness CT as they beat the rivals in the promotion play-offs first leg on Tuesday, now hosting the second leg with a single goal from Paul McMullan proving enough for an advantage.
Terrors have only seen Greenock Morton (1-0) end their three-match winning streak on the final day of the regular season and we feel they’ll now be very motivated to build on tough defensive displays. However, we expect a more thrilling contest this time around with everything to play for.
Inverness CT beat Ayr United (4-2 on aggregate) on the back of a 1-3 win at Somerset Park in early May and they’ll now surely want a similar upset here, despite a tougher task now looming.
