Derby failed to secure the victory they needed in midweek to claim a place in the end of season play-offs after drawing with 1-1 Swansea. It is advantage them though in the three-way race for sixth as they currently have one more point than Boro and two more than Bristol City. They also have a superior goal-difference so if they finish level with one of those sides will still make it.

At Pride Park, the Rams are unbeaten in their last six winning four of these including the previous three fixtures. They have scored 12 times from their last three here having hit six against Rotherham, four against Bolton and two against QPR. Mason Mount is in good scoring form in front of his own fans with four in three while Harry Wilson grabbed a brace last time here.

West Brom stretched their unbeaten run to four with a third victory from these four fixtures as they defeated Rotherham 2-1 at the weekend. It means they sit in fourth place and could actually go third if they win here and Leeds lose on the final day. It remains to see if this motivation is as strong as the desire to rest players to have them fresh ahead of the play-offs.

Away from the Hawthorns, the Baggies are struggling having failed to win any of their last three and just one of the last five. Just two of their last nine on their travels in the Championship have seen both teams find the back of the net. Four of the last five goals they have conceded on the road have come before the half-time break.

The fact that Derby need to win means the bookmakers have them a short price here though we could not be backing them to do so. The pressure is on County and while Albion have nothing to play for the Black Country outfit would love to deny their Midlands rivals bragging rights. It is not a fixture to be trusting either time in though so look elsewhere to find the value.

Albion carry great firepower and we thinking just siding with them to be difficult opponents is the way into this game. Over 1.5 goals looks a solid bet while over 2.5 goals also looks worth a small interest.
