Derby picked up a much needed three points in midweek with a 2-1 home victory over Wigan as they came back from a goal down. The result means they are level on points with Bristol City on sixth and just behind them on goal-difference.
At Pride Park, the Rams have won three straight and lost just one of their previous eight in the league. Seven of the last nine in front of their own fans have seen exactly two or three goals netted.
Sheffield Wednesday picked up a point on Monday night as they drew 0-0 with their local rivals United. They are six points from the play-offs and victory here over Derby would cut the gap to three.
Away from Hillsborough, the Owls have taken five points from their last three and lost just one of the previous six. Wednesday have netted in injury-time in two of their last three on their travels.
It is hard to argue with the match odds on offer which make Derby favourites to win the game but respect Sheffield Wednesday. Of the three options I would lean to the draw but feel better value can be had elsewhere.
In a tricky looking fixture the best value probably lies in taking a couple of player in the to score at any time market. Bradley Johnson has not scored many for the hosts this season but the shots data show he was active in midweek and he could be one to get with here. For the visitors Adam Reach is a class act capable of getting something from nothing and against a Rams defence struggling to keep a clean sheet should have time and space.
