Denmark vs Georgia Match Preview
Denmark have just two points to their name after two outings and sit five points behind the pace-setters Republic of Ireland with a game in hand, after seeing the rivals find a late equalizer at Telia Parken on Friday and snatch a point in a 1-1 draw.
Danish Dynamite have thus seen their fourth draw in a row after also being denied wins by Rep of Ireland (0-0) in Nations League as well as Kosovo (2-2) in a friendly and Switzerland (3-3) in EURO 2020 Qualifiers. They will now want more as they host Georgia for their Matchday 4 clash and we do see them getting it.
Georgia do come into the match on the back of a convincing 3-0 win over Gibraltar, where Gvilia, Papunashvili, and Arveladze all found the net. However, this only ended a streak of two losses as they failed to find the net against Switzerland (0-2) and Republic of Ireland (1-0) with another tough task for them looming here.
Crusaders have proven themselves a tough nut to crack on occasions but they’re hardly the favourites for the top 2 spots, which will make a confident home display an absolute must for Denmark.
We do feel the home side have what it takes to secure the points with confidence and we will thus go for a Home win to Nil, as Denmark kept four clean sheets in the last five outings in front of the home fans.
Still, we don’t feel we’re in for a very one-sided contest and with that in mind, we’re now also going for few goals and Under 2.5 Goals FT at Evens. We have seen such occasions in all of Denmark’s last nine home outings, which makes this great value at this point.
