FC Dallas vs Seattle Sounders Match Preview
Seattle Sounders have seen their six-match unbeaten streak ended in a thriller 3-2 loss at Sporting KC, where goals from Raul Ruidiaz and Kelvin Leerdam haven’t proved enough, now travelling to Dallas in search of a return to the winning ways.
However, Sounders have known struggles for consistency on the road and this will be even more worrying, as they bagged just three points on their last five trips – with a thriller loss at Los Angeles (4-1) as well as draws against Whitecaps (0-0), Minnesota United (1-1), Philadelphia Union (0-0) since late March.
Dallas will now want to capitalize but Luchi Gonzalez’ men hardly give out a feeling of great confidence and a need for a quick fix is more than obvious. They’ve seen four losses in their last five outings and dropped down the pecking order despite scoring goals on the regular, which adds pressure at Toyota Stadium.
Toros have performed better here, though, and have more to build on as just one of those losses came in front of the home fans (1-3 to New York Red Bulls). They’ve held Los Angeles FC to a 1-1 draw since and this surely gives them ground to build on despite a worrying streak now behind them.
We will now back Dallas to do just that and finally bounce to the winning ways, as we go for a Home win at 6/5 with bet365. They’ve been tough to beat here and we feel they should have what it takes to capitalize on the rivals’ woes on the road.
Still, Sounders have been scoring goals and we do see them doing so on the day as well despite not snatching anything from the fixture, which has us going for a high-scoring occasion with Over 2.5 Goals FT at 4/5 with William Hill.
