Czech Republic vs Northern Ireland Match Preview

Czech Republic host Northern Ireland for their Friendly clash on Monday evening, looking to build on their great team spirits just days after a 2-1 win over England – where they fell behind early but completed a comeback with a quick equalizer from Jakub Brabec and a late winner from Zdenek Ondrasek.

Jaroslav Silhavy’s men have thus bagged four wins in five matches and now have 12 points to their name, same as pace-setters England who have a game in hand. They’ve beaten Bulgaria (2-1), Montenegro (3-0 and 0-3) twice and only suffered a 2-1 loss in Kosovo along the way – proving themselves a very tough side to outgun lately.

Northern Ireland have, on the other hand, seen a tougher schedule more recently and they’ve seen a five-match winning streak ended. Germany snatched the points in a tough contest at Windsor Park (0-2) and no one really believed in an upset in Netherlands but they had a lead with ten minutes left on the clock – only to concede three late goals in a 3-1 loss.

Green and White Army have been scoring goals on the regular and we now hope to see them building on such a tally once again. They have a lot to play for with clashes against Netherlands and Germany on the schedule in November and an upset at Generali Arena in Prague would surely be a great pick-me-up.

We don’t really see them making it happen despite a tough challenge we expect and we’ll now back Czech Republic to bag their fifth win in six outings, hoping to see them build on a great 2-1 win over England with another Home win priced at 3/4 with bet365.
