Czech Republic vs Bulgaria Match Preview
Czech Republic host Bulgaria for their Friday’s clash with a streak of two losses behind them, as they struggled to cope with a tough schedule and saw both England (5-0) and Brazil (1-3) outgun them in exciting clashes back in March.
Jaroslav Silhavy’s men have seen a solid finish of their UEFA Nations League campaign beforehand, which saw them hovering in League B above Slovakia with a narrow 1-0 win over the rivals as a single goal from Patrick Schick proved enough for the all-important points.
Bulgaria have, on the other hand, bagged two points in two outings so far and we’ve seen them hold off both Montenegro (1-1) in front of the home fans and Kosovo (1-1) on the road. They will now want to show off as a tough nut to crack at Generali Arena and we do expect a narrow occasion.
Lions have thus extended a streak of four draws and saw just one loss in their last nine outings across competitions, which does promise them in a good mood. However, they’ve struggled for consistency away from home and we feel it will show on the trip to neighbors as well.
We will thus back Czech Republic to turn an exciting occasion their way and going for a Home win has been rated a generous banker bet by many in the know backing it at 8/13 with Paddy Power.
Still, we’ve seen Bulgaria scoring goals on the regular and although we don’t feel they’ll now snatch anything from the fixture, we hope to see them do so once again – as we go for a Yes on Both teams to score at 5/4 with bet365. We’ve seen both sides conceding lately and this does feel like further evidence for such a bet.
