Watford shocked Liverpool (3-0) last week and now travel to London for their Matchday 29 clash surely hoping to build on the display and snatch all three points at Selhurst Park, desperate to escape the immediate danger zone as they sit just outside relegation spots only for better goal difference than Bournemouth’s.

While Hornets did see off struggling Liverpool with second-half goals from Ismaila Sarr (x2) and Troy Deeney, they have thus only ended a six-match winless streak and this leaves them with a lot to prove. Nigel Pearson’s men struggled to keep it together at the back and saw just as much of a comfortable loss at Man United (3-0) just the week before, which has man doubting their ability to cause an upset now.

Crystal Palace come into the match on the back of a two-match winning streak, where they beat Newcastle (1-0) and Brighton (0-1) over the past two weeks and ended a similarly troubled spell of eight games without a win – last three of which ended as losses to Southampton (0-2), Sheffield United (0-1), and Everton (3-1).

Eagles haven’t been scoring goals as often as they’d like at this ground and we’ve seen them bag just two in five outings this year. They still proved themselves as a tough nut to crack and did their party in making it some very narrow occasions along the way, which has us hoping for another such contest now.
