Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth Match Preview
Crystal Palace have struggled with a tough schedule in November and they finally ended a three-match losing streak as they beat Burnley (0-2) on Saturday, now hosting Bournemouth hoping to build on the performance at Turf Moor and keep up with the Premier League top 5.
Eagles have seen Man City (0-2), Leicester (0-2), and Liverpool (1-2) all snatch the points at Selhurst Park since early November, which will be very worrying despite solid challenges and narrow matches seen on all three occasions. They will now be desperate for home points and we expect them in great shape.
Bournemouth will obviously not be the same sort of a challenge for Roy Hodgson’s men and the visitors now have a three-match losing streak to end as well, after two late goals from Harry Wilson proved nothing but consolation in a 3-2 loss at Tottenham over the weekend.
Cherries have been scoring goals on the regular but found it hard to capitalize, seeing Newcastle (2-1) and Wolves (1-2) both snatch the points beforehand. After a rock-solid defensive run through October, the line led by Steve Cook and Nathan Ake felt shaky more recently and conceded a total of seven goals in their last three outings.
We feel Crystal Palace will be able to emphasize such shortcomings as well, as we now go for them to bag all three points in front of the home fans and connect their second win in a row priced at 23/20 with William Hill – which feels like value at this point.
We do feel Bournemouth will lack no attacking potential even with Joshua King sidelined with a hamstring injury. With that in mind, we’re hoping for goals on both ends once again and backing a Yes on Both teams to score at 17/20 with William Hill.
