Colombia vs Panama Match Preview
Colombia have seen their three-match winning streak interrupted by Korea Republic (2-1) in March, as a single goal from Luis Díaz proved too little to snatch a positive result in Seoul, now hosting Panama for their friendly looking to pick it up ahead of the Copa America campaign coming up in June.
Los Cafeteros have beaten United States (2-4), Costa Rica (3-1), and Japan (0-1) in three outings since October and boasted an in-form attacking line, which will surely have them very motivated to show off now as well and promises an exciting occasion at Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campin.
Panama have, on the other hand, shocked many as they ended a three-match losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Brazil, where Lucas Paqueta opened the scoresheet but Adolfo Machado pulled it back to level terms and Tite’s men failed to convert their chances since.
Los Canaleros have been conceding goals, though, and Brazil’s inability to score does feel like an enigma, but Julio Dely Valdes’ men were not without chances of their own. Still, causing an upset in Bogota should prove even more of a challenge and we don’t see them making it happen.
We’ll now rather back Colombia to secure a pick-me-up with confidence as we go for Asian Handicap -1.5 at 23/40 with bet365, which feels like a safe approach to the fixture which should prove an exciting occasion.
With that in mind, we’re also getting behind such a statement as we now also back a high-scoring clash with Over 2.5 Goals FT at 8/13 with William Hill, hoping to see Colombia motivated moving forward and scoring goals in somewhat of a one-sided clash looming.
