New York Red Bulls travel to Nippert Stadium for their weekend clash just days after hosting Vancouver Whitecaps midway through the week, as they look to build on a two-match winning streak in a busy week ahead.

Red Bulls have beaten Dallas (1-3) and Atlanta United (1-0) over the past two weeks and bagged four wins in their last five outings, which should have Chris Armas’ men very motivated to impress once again. They’ve been scoring goals on the regular recently and will want to keep that up as well.

Cincinnati have seen quite a contrasting spell of form and host the clash looking for a return to the winning ways after a 5-1 thrashing at Orlando City, which was their seventh loss in nine outings – with just a win over Montreal (2-1) and a draw against Sporting KC (1-1) at this ground earned along the way.

Yoann Damet has seemingly fixed a thing or two taking over with a win over impact but things still seem very worrying for Cincinnati as a loss here could see them nine points behind the Eastern Conference top 7 already with games in hand to all of the contenders sitting up.
