Chicago Fire vs New England Revolution Match Preview
Chicago Fire host New England Revolution looking to finally end a three-match winless streak, where they held Los Angeles FC to a goalless draw only to somewhat bounce back after narrow losses at New York City (1-0) and Montreal Impact (1-0).
Men in Red have been solid at the back but usually have a lot more to offer in the final third at SeatGeek Stadium, which does promise a more exciting challenge on the day. They’ve outclassed Colorado Rapids in a 4-1 win here in April and will now rather want to build on such a performance.
New England have, on the other hand, struggled for defensive consistency on the road and we’ve seen them concede a high total of ten goals on two consecutive trips since late April – snatching a point at Sporting KC (4-4) and suffering a thrashing 6-1 loss at Philadelphia Union.
Revs now play their third away game in a row and will have to hope for more, but it’s tough seeing Brad Friedel finding a cure for their woes just yet. They have just eight points to their name and we don’t see them snatching any in Bridgeview either.
We do feel they’ll find the net, though, and with that in mind – we’re now backing Chicago Fire to win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 11/5 with bet365. We’ve seen the home side conceding on the regular and this does feel like a great value at here.
We thus feel we’re in for goals at SeatGeek Stadium and backing it feels like buying money for old rope as Over 2.5 Goals FT comes at 13/20 with Paddy Power. We’ve seen both sides enjoying such clashes lately and this feels like further evidence for such a bet.
