Celtic went on their International break with a disappointing loss in Livingston (2-0), as Ryan Christie got sent off early on and Scott Robinson and Lyndon Dykes’ second-half goals brought a comfortable win to the rivals. They now host Ross County for their Matchday 9 clash hoping to bounce back and challenge Rangers at the top of the table once again.

Bhoys have thus seen an 11-match unbeaten streak across competitions ended and their struggles for consistency have proven costly, with draws at Rennes (1-1) and Hibernian (1-1) seen in September too. They have been more convincing at Celtic Park, though, and will still have a lot to build on here.

Ross County come into the match with a four-match unbeaten streak behind them and they will now hope they can capitalize on the Scottish dominants recent woes too. They beat St Mirren (2-1), Motherwell (1-2) and built on the streak with points against Kilmarnock (0-0) and St Johnstone (2-2).

Staggies have struggled for goalscoring consistency on the road and this could be more worrying, failing to find the net in three of their last five trips. They saw just one of those occasions end in a loss but Stuart Kettlewell will have to search for more from his men if they’re to snatch the points on the day.

We don’t see them making it happen, though, and we’ll now rather back Celtic to secure the points with confidence as we go for a Home win to Nil at 3/4 with Unibet. We’ve seen Bhoys keep clean sheets in their last two home outings, which does feel like further evidence for such a bet too.

Ross County have enjoyed a positive spell lately and we don’t really see them as sitting ducks. With that in mind, we don’t feel we’ll see too many goals in Glasgow and we’re now also backing Under 2.5 Goals FT at 6/4 with William Hill.
