Celtic vs Copenhagen Match Preview
Celtic took an early lead in Copenhagen but failed to really capitalize on Odsonne Edouard’s opener and were held to a 1-1 draw last week, which will have them looking for a more convincing display in front of the home fans in a search for the ticket to the Europa League 8th Finals on Thursday evening.
Bhoys have been very confident at Celtic Park and we’ve seen them bag 18 wins in 19 outings since August, where only Rangers (1-2) interrupted the streak in December. They’ve been scoring numbers of goals along the way too and will have great ground to build on, after bagging 11 in three games as they beat Ross County (3-0), Hearts (5-0), and Kilmarnock (3-1).
Copenhagen will have their regrets as they took control of the game at one point and Jens Stage missed a late penalty last week. They have struggled to turn clashes their way since the winter break and now have a five-match winless streak behind them, which will be even more worrying.
Byens Hold were held to a 1-1 draw at Silkeborg over the weekend and they’ll need to show more if they’re to cause an upset in Glasgow. They struggled to impress in the final third and in-form Stage will need goalscoring partners, as the visitors come into the match in need of a goal.
We don’t see them making their way past the Scottish rivals, though, and we will now rather follow in the footsteps of many big hitters – going for Celtic to build on their convincing streak at this ground with a Home win priced at 4/9 with BetVictor.
We should be in for goals and another exciting occasion at Celtic Park, which has us going for a high-scoring occasion with Over 2.5 Goals FT at 11/10 with bet365. We’ve seen Bhoys regularly enjoying such clashes here and we’re now hoping for more of the same.
