Celtic host Cluj for the return match of their Champions League Qualifiers clash after being held off in the first leg and seeing a 1-1 draw at Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu – where they fell behind early but bounced before the half-time break with a goal from James Forrest and kept hold of the result.
Bhoys have come out with a positive result despite a somewhat underwhelming display and Neil Lennon will surely hope his men can show more at Celtic Park, having only ended their four-match winning streak on their trip to Cluj-Napoca. They have been more confident here and will surely be even more of a challenge for the Romanians.
Cluj surely feel they should have won and have regrets ahead of the trip to Glasgow, having missed some colossal chances to get in front. They have a lengthy unbeaten streak of their own and obviously have a lot to play for, having shown off as a tough nut to crack already.
Still, the Railwaymen will be without their midfield star Emmanuel Culio who’s out with an injury and they’ll now have to switch things up, as they need a goal and an upset on the day. They have been scoring them on the regular lately, though, and we expect them very motivated to do so now.
However, outgunning Celtic here will be a great task and we don’t see them doing so. We’ll now rather stick with the Bhoys to secure their ticket to the Play-offs with a Home win here, which comes at 3/4 with Unibet and still looks the best approach to the fixture.
As said, we feel Cluj will be no sitting ducks and with that in mind, we’re also going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 11/10 with Paddy Power. We hope to see an exciting game of football and Cluj should be able to do their bit in making it such.
