Celta Vigo vs Villarreal Match Preview
Villarreal have rediscovered their fine form with Europa League success and travel to Vigo for their Matchday 29 clash on the back of a four-match winning streak, where they beat Zenit (5-2 on aggregate) as well as Levante (0-2) and Rayo Vallecano (3-1) in La Liga.
Yellow Submarine have thus finally been looking up and now boast a four-point gap to Celta who sit in the relegation zone after 28 games played. They have been scoring more goals lately and Javi Calleja will be desperate to build on such a streak with in-form Gerard Moreno leading the attacking line.
Celta Vigo have seen a comfortable 2-0 loss to Real Madrid ahead of the International break as their goalscoring woes continue, as they suffered fifth loss in six outings since early February. They have been tougher to beat at home ground but have still struggled to turn clashes their way amid a streak which now sees them in the relegation zone.
Celticos have enjoyed some thriller head-to-head clashes against Villarreal lately, including a 2-3 win at Estadio de la Ceramica earlier this term. They now hope to build on it and we feel they’ll be very motivated to close the four-point gap to the rivals in a chase to secure the top-flight status this term.
We will now stick our necks out for the sides to share the spoils in an exciting contest at Balaidos as we go for a Draw at 23/10 with William Hill. We have seen both sides struggling for consistency and hope Celticos can hold off the reinvigorated visitors.
We do feel we’re in for goals and going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 7/10 with bet365 looks like a generous banker bet, as we see both struggling to keep it together at the back and put on unpredictable displays in the final third.
