Cardiff vs Leeds Match Preview
Cardiff kept alive their play-off hopes and put a four-game winless run behind them with a 2-0 road success at Barnsley last weekend. The Welsh side were ninth in the table going into the weekend and just two points outside the top six.
At the Cardiff City Stadium, the Bluebirds are four without a victory in the league though three of these finished all-square. Four of the last five and five of their last seven have seen both teams find the back of the net.
Leeds made it five successive victories with a 2-0 victory over Huddersfield last weekend with all these wins coming to nil. After a tricky spell they are flying and have gone back top of the table by one point from West Brom who play Saturday.
Away from Elland Road, United have won back-to-back league games and only West Brom (11) have won more Championship road games then the ten they have this season. Tyler Roberts grabbed a brace in his and their last road game.
After a run of five straight victories Leeds will be a popular bet here but Cardiff (along with Derby) have lost a Championship low of two home games all season. A better angle of attack is to find a couple of goalscorer value bets to net at anytime.
Tyler Roberts score twice in a 4-0 road success at Hull recently and the Leeds frontman looks good value to net here. Another United player who could find the back of the net is Luke Ayling who has two in two and goes off at double-figure odds to score in this one.
